When your taxable turnover reaches the VAT threshold, you will need to register for VAT and file VAT Returns. The current VAT threshold in June 2022 is £85,000. You MUST register within 30 days of the end of the month that your taxable turnover went over the VAT threshold. If you do need to register, with your permission, your dedicated Accountant can complete the registration form and submit it ONLINE on your behalf.
Under the Governments rule “Making Tax Digital”, every quarter you will need to give your dedicated Accountant access to bank statements in PDF or CSV formats and any other associated paperwork, if required. You can send scanned copies of paperwork and/or files containing documents to us by email. If you prefer to send by post, we will send you a pre-paid packet to send your paperwork to us.
